Xiao is the Associate Director of Community Partners. His duties include forming new partnerships with local organizations that may contribute to the growth of NAAAP - Boston and its membership and to revive old alliances. Xiao was raised in Boston and has attended public schools there. After graduating from Northeastern University with a Bachelor's degree in International Affairs, he became employed with an executive branch state agency where he works in the investigative and decision-making field. One of his top priorities is to ensure that legal rulings made by the agency are in compliance with state and federal law.

Xiao is currently an MBA candidate at UMass Lowell's Manning School of Business where his focus is on international business. He is fluent in English and Cantonese Chinese and can speak Mandarin Chinese at an intermediate level.  In his spare time, Xiao enjoys trying ethnic cuisines, meeting new people, exploring the outdoors, and working out at the gym.
