Ming Hui has been a member of NAAAP Boston since 2006, and served as a member of the Board of Directors since 2010. Since joining the organization in 2006, Ming has participated and coordinated a number of events. She was a member of the NAAAP Boston scholarship selection committee from 2007-2009, in which she reviewed and evaluated candidate applications and participated in the final selection of the scholarship winners. Ming was also the co-event leader for the professional development seminar on Career Success Stories of Accomplished Asian-Americans. Furthermore, she helped organize BCNC’s Oak Street Fair in 2007 and 2008 as the stage manager in coordinating the musical performances for the fair.
After joining the Board of Directors in 2010, Ming served as the Vice President of NAAAP Boston from 2010-2011. She then served as the President in 2012. As a member of the Executive Team, she led the initiative to modify the organizational structure of NAAAP Boston. Under her leadership, she recruited more talent to the Executive Team and generated interest from the community to learn more about NAAAP Boston. With a strengthened team of leaders, NAAAP Boston added four new corporate sponsors in 2012 reaching a total of eleven sponsors, the highest in NAAAP Boston’s history at the time.
Currently, Ming is a Senior Associate in the Affiliate Development group at Affiliated Managers Group (AMG). Prior to joining AMG, Ming was an Analyst in the Global Credit Research group at Putnam Investments, specializing in high-grade and high-yield bonds. In this role, Ming analyzed over 80 companies in the home construction, manufacturing, auto-rental, lodging, railroad and trucking sectors. Her investment coverage represented $1 billion of Putnam’s Corporate Fixed Income Assets. Ming has been working in the investment industry since 2005. Ming received a BS in Business Management at Babson College and an MBA at Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth College.
